The antlion optimizer (ALO) algorithm is used in this article for maximum power point tracking (MPPT) of a solar array. array consists single module, while there are 20 cells the module. voltage and current ratings each cell 2 V 2.5 A, making 100 W ideal condition. However, characteristics PV unable to achieve power. Therefore, ALO was MPPT. results compared with traditional metaheuristic approaches, perturb observe (P&O) flower pollination (FP) algorithms. Comparison stated algorithms conducted two cases: when irradiance 1000 W/m2 it drops 200 at first then reaches W/m2. change performed simulate partial shading simulation depict that case using 91.3 just 0.05 s, P&O PFA reach 90 after 0.64 respectively. For shading, 55 decreases increases increase reaching which clearly shows outperforms FPA.
